On Thursday August 11th Prof. Juan José Sanguienti delivered the open lecture "Neuroscience and Anthropology" in the Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino.
He has a PhD in Philosophy (Universidad de Navarra, Spain). He is Professor of Philosophy of Knowledge at the School of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome). He has published fifteen books and nearly a hundred scientific articles on theory of knowledge, philosophy of science, philosophy of nature, philosophy of mind and the neurosciences.

On Tuesday May 24th Prof. Eleonore Stump delivered the open lecture “The Problem of Evil and the Desires of the Heart” in the Amphitheatre of the School of Biomedical Sciences (Campus Pilar).
She is the Robert H. Henle professor of Philosophy at the University of Saint Louis (USA), where she teaches since 1992. Her areas of specialization include medieval philosophy, the philosophy of religion, and metaphysics.
