During 2016-2018, members of the Person, Mind and Brain discussion group are scheduled to meet seven times a year. The meetings follow a selection of presentations from alternative scientific, philosophical or theological perspectives, in order to reach an interdisciplinary understanding of the human person.

The importance of this activity is that it allows scientists and philosophers to become real partners in the common quest for knowledge. Philosophers will be able to follow the progress of the experimental research, and scientists will reach a wider understanding of their findings. The seminar will thus increase the motivation to pursue their own investigations.

Presentations should last 60 minutes, with another 60 minutes allotted for discussion. A summary of the presentations is available here.
